Pure Joy!

2020 - a year none of us will ever forget. And it's still not over. But, after staying at home for several months, I was finally able to come out and do my first Senior Session of the year, staying six feet away and wearing a mask the whole time. I almost cried, I was so happy to get out, use my camera and hang with some truly amazing people. And this girl. Her smile radiates PURE JOY. I've thought this ever since the first time I met her, maybe 4 years ago. Her session was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of my year so far!

After a few shots at her high school (and incidentally, mine too...it's always wild to be back there), we headed off to our second location!

One of my favorite series of her whole session! Her dad commented that it's reminiscent of a 1970's Coke commercial...

I love it when my Seniors pull out an instrument and play during our session. It's just the best!

Back to the car for the next outfit...which was also amazing!

(I need to take her along with me the next time I go clothes shopping!)

Last but not least...welcome to the next chapter in her life...as a HAWKEYE!

This time is such a momumental milestone.

I love getting parents in a few final shots, as their Senior gets ready to embark upon the next chapter in their lives...

Oh, my heart....

I am so truly thankful to get to experience the joy of this girl, the love of her family and

their trust in me to capture this point in time, crazy as it may be!
